Who this is

This site (clarencetan.co) is operated by NewGround, a registered sole proprietorship in Singapore run by Clarence Tan, providing data & AI training. NewGround is the data controller for the personal information described here. If you have any questions about your data, email clarence@clarencetan.co.

What I collect

I only collect personal data you choose to give me. Specifically:

• Contact & interest forms: your name, email, and whatever you write in the message when you get in touch or register interest in a course.
• Interactive projects (Temple Oracle, Arcana Tarot): if you ask to have a reading emailed to you, I use the email address you provide to send that reading. If you also tick the optional newsletter box, your email is added to my mailing list.

I do not sell your data, and I don't share it with third parties except the service providers below who help deliver these features.

How I use it

• To reply to you when you contact me or register interest.
• To send you the reading you asked for from an interactive project.
• To send you the newsletter — occasional emails with data & AI tips and course news — but only if you opted in. Getting a reading emailed to you does not subscribe you to anything; the newsletter is a separate, optional choice.

The tools I use

To run the site and these features, I rely on a few reputable providers, each of which processes some data on my behalf:

• Netlify — hosts the website and runs the small functions that send reading emails.
• MailerLite — stores my newsletter mailing list and sends newsletter emails.
• Resend — delivers the individual reading emails from the interactive projects.

Each of these providers has its own privacy and security practices.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list.
• Ask to be removed. Email me at clarence@clarencetan.co and I'll delete your details from my records.
• Ask what I hold. You can ask me what personal data of yours I have, and I'll tell you.

Data retention

I keep contact enquiries and newsletter subscriptions for as long as they're useful for staying in touch, and remove them on request or when they're no longer needed. Reading-email addresses are used to send that email and are not stored separately beyond the mailing list (which only happens if you opted in).

Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Some embedded tools (like the newsletter form) may set functional cookies needed to work. Interactive projects may store a little information in your own browser to remember your session — this stays on your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top. For anything you're unsure about, just email me — I'm happy to explain.
